About Odd Beds
The beds that matter most are often the ones no store sells a mattress for.
Why this guide
The bed in the camper, the berth in the boat, the iron bed from a grandparent's house, the bed that folds into the wall: none of them take a store mattress, and most answers online are guesses.
Odd Beds shows how to measure each one, what makes it odd, and what to ask before ordering, so you can get it right the first time, wherever you buy.
How we know
Every size and every number on the guide pages comes from a source listed at the bottom of that guide, with the day we read it. When sources disagree, we say so.
